Then the local paper called her, the professional, to ask what kind of person falls for these things. She was the person. And instead of hiding, she said it out loud and let them print it.
That's where Dr. Maria Nemeth's real work started. The embarrassment became a bridge. People stopped seeing the untouchable expert and started calling her about their own money, their own fear, their own mess. Out of that came The Energy of Money, a spot on the Oprah show, and eventually the Academy for Coaching Excellence, which she's run for 26 years. 1️⃣ Say the embarrassing thing out loud
Maria lost 35K to a scam and her instinct was to hide, same as anyone. The turn came when she let the paper print it.
